Terms for accounts and private photos.

The current website

Day of the Dead Pets is operated by river. You can browse the project and register with a username and password. Email is optional and unverified. Keep your username and password safe: password recovery is not available yet. Account creation does not create a subscription or grant free generations. Private photo storage is available. Video generation and payments remain closed.

Planned prices, scenes, and options may change before launch. A concept image is a design illustration, not evidence of a working generator or a promise of a particular result. No paid service can be purchased through this landing page.

Content policy

Use the website lawfully. Our Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these terms: pet-only sources, seven prohibited content categories, review before generation and delivery, and content reporting to support@dayofthedeadpets.com. When you upload, you must have the necessary rights and permission to use the photo. The service is pet-only. No real people, prohibited content, or attempts to bypass manual review are permitted. Do not provide material that violates another person's rights or privacy.

Original creative work

The planned scenes are original creative work inspired by remembrance. We do not offer copied movie scenes, characters, competitor media, or unlicensed music. We are not affiliated with a film studio or competing memorial service.

You retain any rights you already hold in your own material. Any permission needed for providers to process uploads, and the terms for using generated results, will be explained before video generation opens. Private photo storage requires your permission in the account upload form. Do not assume that a generated result has exclusive rights or is suitable for every commercial use.

AI limitations

AI can produce unexpected changes to appearance, anatomy, markings, movement, and scene details. An exact likeness, specific output length or resolution, processing time, and error-free result are not guaranteed. Supported capabilities must be shown using tested facts when the service opens.

A memorial video is an artistic keepsake. It is not a record of a real event, a claim about an afterlife, or a substitute for counselling or medical care.

Future purchases and files

Before purchases become available, we will publish the supported options, full price and currency, credit requirements, delivery terms, and refund rules. We do not currently plan a subscription or free generation.

Private photos are available for seven days, with expired files removed by daily cleanup. Download any photo you want to keep. Generated-video retention terms will be confirmed before generation opens. Account, accounting and other necessary records are separate from this photo window.

Changes and contact

We may update the planned service or these terms as the project develops. Updates will be shown on this page. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
