Who operates this site

Day of the Dead Pets is operated by river. For a privacy question or request, contact support@dayofthedeadpets.com.

What is available now

This website accepts username-and-password accounts. Email is optional and unverified. We store your username, a salted scrypt password hash, optional email, internal account ID, and hashed session tokens in Cloudflare D1. We do not store plain-text passwords. An essential Secure, HttpOnly session cookie signs you in for up to seven days. We keep expiring login challenges, rate-limit records, and authentication events to protect accounts. River may inspect uploaded photos and quarantined outputs to apply our Acceptable Use Policy. Review decisions record a content hash, reason, reviewer and timestamp. These limited security and dispute records are separate from the seven-day media window. Account records remain while your account is active; contact support to request deletion. Some records may be retained for security or legal reasons. Private photo storage is available. Video generation and payments remain closed. There is no newsletter form, verification email, or password-recovery email.

Information used when you visit

Cloudflare hosts and helps protect this landing page. Hosting and security services may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as an IP address, request details, browser information, and security logs. You can read more in Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Optional Google Analytics measures visits to these public information pages only after you choose Allow analytics. No thanks leaves Google tracking unloaded. You can withdraw using the analytics controls in the footer. An allowed choice expires after seven days; Google Analytics has separate cookie and data retention settings. We do not send pet photos, prompts, emails, usernames, account IDs, private download information, query strings or URL fragments. Account and private media routes have no Google tag. Advertising signals are disabled. Google processes limited device and usage information under its own privacy terms. Essential technical storage still protects and operates this site.

If you contact us

If you email river, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use that information to answer your request and manage the conversation. Our email provider also processes the message. We do not add you to a marketing list merely because you contact us.

Please use the private account upload form for your pet photo. Do not send photos, card details, passwords, or other sensitive information by email. Payments remain closed.

How private photo uploads work

Your photos are currently stored privately in Cloudflare D1. They are not sent to RunningHub while generation is closed. A future generation will require separate consent before sending the selected photo to the generation provider. We will explain the active provider processing and retention terms before generation opens.

Photos are available in your account for seven days. Daily cleanup removes expired private photos, normally within a further day. You can delete an unused photo sooner from your account. This is separate from support messages, account records, security records, orders, refunds, and accounting data; these are not all deleted after seven days.

Retention and sharing

We retain information only for the relevant service, support, security, and legal purposes. Actual retention periods or the criteria used to determine them will be described as those services are enabled. Hosting, security, and email providers may process information needed to perform their services, and disclosure may also be necessary to comply with applicable law or protect the service.

Before generation or payments open, we will publish the necessary details about additional processors, international transfers where applicable, and the terms relevant to those services.

Your requests

Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the use of your personal information, or request a copy. Contact river at support@dayofthedeadpets.com. We may need enough information to verify that the request concerns your information. Some records may need to be retained for legal or accounting reasons, and we will explain any relevant limits.

Updates

We will update this notice when the service or its data handling changes. The published page will show its effective date.
