How to Make a Pet Memorial Video from One Photo

By river · Updated

To make a pet memorial video from one photo, choose a clear image you have permission to use, upload it privately, and wait for photo approval before requesting a video with a paid credit. Day of the Dead Pets creates an approximately five-second silent AI clip using MiniMax H3 through RunningHub, followed by a separate review of the complete result. You collect the approved video through Your memorials and download a copy to keep.

1. Choose a photo that still feels like your pet

Start with one pet whose face and distinctive markings are easy to see. A familiar expression, visible eyes and an uncluttered background give you a useful reference for judging the finished tribute. Use a copy of the original, in PNG or JPEG format, no larger than 5 MB; the image must not contain real people.

Keep the original photograph somewhere safe. If you are deciding between favorites or need to remove private information, use the photo preparation guide before uploading. Only submit a photo you own or have permission to use, and read the pet-only content rules.

2. Decide what a short tribute should mean to you

A short clip can preserve the feeling of a greeting, a quiet pause or a companion remembered in warm light. Our fixed memorial scene uses original Día de Muertos-inspired imagery, including a welcoming setting and marigolds. It is a creative interpretation; you are not choosing a custom sequence of shots, and a particular action or scene is not guaranteed.

If you are drawn to the flowers, read what a marigold bridge can mean in a pet memorial. You can write your own caption to accompany the downloaded clip when sharing it. The product does not include a custom text overlay or music soundtrack.

3. Save your private access before buying

Open Your memorials. You can use a username account or continue as a guest with a contact email. For guest access, save the private access link before checkout: it is how you return to your orders and files, including on another device. Anyone with that link can access them, so keep it private.

Uploading stores your photo for manual content review; it does not start a supplier generation. Your contact email is not proof of ownership, and an email address alone cannot restore guest access automatically.

4. Choose the right number of credits

The current prices are $4.99 USD for one generation credit or $9.99 USD for three credits. Each credit covers a separate, approximately five-second silent video. Three credits do not include one fifteen-second edited film. There is no subscription, free generation or registration credit.

Keep the Waffo order reference. Credits require a verified payment confirmation; returning from checkout is not itself proof of payment. If a payment appears complete but your credits are missing, check your original account or guest access and contact support before paying again.

5. Request the video after photo approval

Return to Your memorials after the photo has been approved. Select that photo and your paid order, review the consent to share the image with RunningHub for generation, and choose Create video. Your request enters the processing queue.

The video model is MiniMax H3, from MiniMax, accessed through RunningHub. Day of the Dead Pets is an independent tool, not affiliated with MiniMax or RunningHub. AI can change facial features, coat markings, anatomy and movement; exact likeness and resolution are not guaranteed.

6. Follow review, then watch the complete result

The operator, river, reviews both the input photo and the complete generated output. The operating target is a first check within two business days, with another account-status update within seven business days if unresolved. Business days follow Asia/Shanghai time, Monday through Friday except mainland China public holidays. These are review targets, not an instant-delivery promise.

Automated completion email is currently disabled, so return to Your memorials for progress. Review and download help explains pending requests, private access, failures and support. Once released, watch the whole clip before sharing it; a recognizable opening frame does not ensure consistent likeness throughout.

7. Download and keep your own copy

Use the private download button when the approved video is available. Site media has a seven-day availability window, and review does not restart that window. Download promptly, open the saved file to check it, and keep a backup you control. Account and payment records have separate retention rules in the Privacy Policy.

Is the public sample the same as a purchased clip?

The public video example is a 12.21-second edited piece made from original fictional pet artwork. It shows a creative direction, rather than the length of one paid credit or a customer result. A purchased credit is for one approximately five-second silent clip; use that specification when deciding whether the service fits your memorial.
